ok...

...the singers is a cobain wannabe without any of the angst or passion, the band is ok, but it's hard to hear them over that fukin annoying shit of a vocalist. Must realise that this is 2005 and not 1991.

you know nothing about anger angst and passion it's ovious you didn't listen to the lyrics. This is a trimmed down version of a recording from a show. this is funny because this has been the only bad review that we have had so far amongst to the reviews we get all the time this is been the only bad one.
It's easy to see that you have no music submissions or any submissions so unless you can do the same thing we can think before you speak.

Nice sound....

.....But it isn't a song, its just one sound, that varies octave. Why class this as Drum n Bass when there are no drums whatsoever all it is, is a basic loop on repeat. Fair play that u r young and learning, but it relly aint woth submitting this stuff.

...get rid of the singer, cos the band's good but the singers voice is weak and doesn't compliment the quality of the backing music, plus the vox are to loud in relation to everything else.

Corny, but it gets better...

...It sounds like u are trying to copy a song by The Killers called 'Everything Will be Alright', but without the same sort of originality or personality. The instruments sound weak, the drum loop is ok and sounds interesting with the fx on it. Just a little too predictable and uninspiring though.

Never heard of that song actually... so no. if anything it would be Pixies although the only similrarity is the main chords. adn yeah, i guess it's pretty corny and the instruments are weak and so, but then it's made in fruity loops, which mostly fits Hiphop and techno stuff (I feel)... made in less than 40 minutes, which also can explains why it is like it is... however thanks for the review, hopefully i'll learn something from it..

I will hazard a guess that u r using fruity loops and are just starting out. I want to be kind and say that this is a good start at writing music, but its really bad. Surely u must listen to music in some form and be able to realise that this sounds like something a bunch of retarded monkeys with no hands could write. It is just pointless and crap.

It's a nice idea, and it sounds pretty cool, but it needs some serious work to make it sound interesting to listen to. I like the beat that u make towrds the end of the loop, and u should develop that with some synths maybe. I sounds pretty god damn annoying though.

...i like the instrumentation, but the drums r kinda boooring and even though the trk is short i get disinterested very quickly. That stabbing note is pretty irritating, it gets so nice when it's not there! Could do with developing. It has some nice parts, but it's not enough for me to download it.

well ya, its the first thing i ever made that wasnt a loop in fl studio, it took me so long to understand fl studio, lol so its alright for a first anything before here was made with acid unless it was a short loop

I dont like the sounds of the instruments you have used, they sound too much like presets with a bit of reverb. Nothing much happens throughout the song, it's pretty dull, it's nice, but that's all. The stringy parts sound good and the bass is pretty smooth, but the beats are very average.
It breaks no new ground.

I know, just experimenting. It's a basic hiphop beat, with alot of subtle variations. The intstruments weren't presets, I actually worked pretty hard on em. Well, can't win em all ;)

It Reminds me of...

..Prefuse73. i like this a lot. It's a mish-mash of styles and beats, but i like that. I'm not sure how much of this trk is actually yours, but nonetheless it sounds cool.
It sounds like it could be an intro to an album. I love the weird musicbox sounds. It's really inventive and original, I just wish that I knew that this is all u.I hope this is an original trk made by u, if it isnt, then i give full marks for taste, cos it is a nice piece of bip-hop, if u didnt make it then kudos for putting this tune onto Newgrounds. Either way, I like it, it's a gr8 piece of instrumental hip-hop.

82% of the song is mine, the beats is made by somebody else, but sliced by me, the guitar/strings are from Spandau Ballet's True, and everything else is mine... thx
